1:1 Leadership Coaching
Most people don’t come to me with a single, clearly defined problem.

They arrive with a lot in their head - conversations replaying, decisions circling, and a sense that something isn’t sitting right.

They often ask for help with low confidence, setting boundaries, managing conflict, or career direction.

But usually what they need most is somewhere to slow the situation down and see it all clearly, so they understand their options and what to do next.

The difficulty is rarely just inside them.
It also sits in the situation around them.

Expectations, competing priorities, trade-offs, power dynamics.

The bias in the room that nobody names.

The extra weight carried by people who've had to fight harder just to get there.

The exhausting performance of having to prove themselves in spaces that weren't designed with them in mind.
Decisions where there isn’t an obvious answer.

It stays with them because it matters, and because it’s hard to see clearly from the inside.

This is where our work begins.
Together we untangle what’s going on, surface patterns that aren’t obvious from the middle of it, and clarify what’s within their influence and what isn’t.

Sometimes that leads to a change in action.
Sometimes a shift in perspective.

Often it’s something small which makes a big difference.

The aim is simple: they leave understanding what’s really going on, and what they’re going to do about it.
Who is This For?
This work suits people carrying real responsibility in complicated environments - social impact organisations, public services, values-driven teams.

People trying to do the right thing inside systems that don't always make that easy.

And particularly people who've had to work harder than they should have just to get to where they are - women, people of colour, and others building influence in spaces that weren't built for them, who want to use that influence well and sustainably.

You don't have to hold a formal leadership title.

But you probably hold yourself to high standards - not out of ego, but because the people and outcomes around you actually matter.
What actually happens in a session?
You bring whatever is on your mind - a decision, a conversation, a situation that keeps circling.

We look at it properly.

I listen carefully, reflect back what I’m hearing, and point to patterns or dynamics that are hard to see from the inside.
Sometimes I’ll challenge your thinking. Sometimes I’ll offer a perspective or a practical suggestion.

The aim isn’t to give instructions, or to leave you alone with questions.

It’s to make the situation clearer - until you know what you want to do and why.

That clarity often changes how you act: conversations become easier to have, decisions steadier to make, and the mental noise settles.

Sessions are a confidential space to think through real situations as they arise.

Some people come for a short period around a specific decision or change.
Others use the space more regularly while navigating demanding roles.

We agree a rhythm that fits the situation, typically every couple of weeks.

If useful, we can talk through fees and availability in an initial conversation.

This isn’t therapy, mentoring, or performance coaching.
It’s a place to think carefully with someone outside the situation.

If that sounds useful, the first step is simply a conversation to see if it would help.
